You don't really manage a country. It's basically a boardgame. Fun enough for like 500 hours though.

boring as shit. There are like 5 ways to win and 4 require you doing absolutely nothing except pressing next turn after upgrading one thing every 40 turns.

The other way is building an army which I thought would be cool. But its not fun making 40 units then having to transport them through forests and mountains getting one move per turn. So finally after spending 50 turns positioning you can attack a city then repeat that 20 more times. the game is aids not fun in any fucking way. one of my friends i used to play other shit with just plays this autism simulator now.

The government aspects of civ V are fucking pathetic even with the DLC. It's a board game where you plant cities and upgrade them.

Fuck I hate civ v so much. Gutted any RNG to try and push the multiplayer aspect even more, gay level up civic shit, no health and global happiness, fucking Christ.

I recommend getting six over five but you should have started with 4. Four is great and it would have given you more appreciation going into six after five. If that makes sense. Five was a huge huge step backwards, six basically restored my faith in the series.
