Astrologian should not be nerfed. Outside of the opener, the balance is locked behind rng and it is the only non-situational card. It should absolutely be among the strongest utility in the game and in it's old state no one cared about it. Diurnal is still the better sect so saying Noct buffs killed SCH is retarded i m o.

The direction they seem to be taking with the healers is WHM with big damage and big heals, strong mp management and lots of ogcd heals, AST with strong utility and a steady stream of healing/mitigation, and SCH has mitigation, moderate utility, good persistent damage (except aoe, bane nerf was dumb) and the capability to split heal for cheap. Mind scaling and the pruned abilities is what did the most harm to the class since being able to stay in cleric and heal while other healers couldnt is what gave them a guarenteed spot all of 3.0 it's as if that change was made and they didn't do anything to address how that would effect sch, even excog and aethepact seem like they were designed with old cleric in mind

They are servicable but probably the weakest of the three healers in terms of output.

Honestly the main problem with SCH is not that they are too weak but that AST is too strong. It's really fucking absurd how overpowered AST is at the moment.

SCH just needs some adjustments to its MP management, they made Adlo and Succor cost way too much considering the Aetherflow nerf, and also to make the fairy gauge replenish faster because right now it gets blown in 10 seconds and takes 3 minutes to get back to full. The heal isn't super amazing or anything and it prevents the fairy from doing other stuff, so it should at least be accessible regularly.

And that is all well and fine, but a good housing near a retainer bell and market board (which is basically 99% of all housings) is a great QoL thing, it costs like 200 gil tops to teleport "home" and you can have all the shit you need (Mender, Retainer, Mail, Market Board) RIGHT there. Compare to teleporting to a capital and then using Aetheryte to teleport to a board or mailbox or mender, its only a few seconds, but some autists would get pissed at losing that QoL and that would defnitly colour teh vote if the server is no longer "fresh" and housing no longer a guarantee.
