I'd get more Star Wars games but I have literally all of them but the shitty starfighter games and the lego games.

Pretty sure Gothic II is just a meme since no one cares to elaborate on WHY it's the best game of all time, but I'm willing to buy it.

My question is if I need to know the backstory of the first Gothic to fully enjoy the second one.

Also, some modding guides would be appreciated.
