I don't even know what the fuck were they thinking with warrior. The lvl 66 trait is the biggest joke I've ever seen, nothing ever aligns making the class a fucking clunky mess and don't get me started on stance switching. Shake it Off is just more salt in the wounds. I played all tanks equally in HW so it's not like I'm complaining about less damage and propagate fell memes. Warrior is just clunky and you need to know the fight pretty well to time your inner release + berserk window to do the same damage as a paladin.

Didn't level drk yet, but paladin is already fun to play with, because of it's simple yet effective rotation.

I think NIN will be overshadowed along with DRG. They'll both still be viable of course, but because people are so obsessed with muh max deeps I'm guessing most people will want SAM, MNK, BRD and 1 caster. Can't say for sure how popular RDM will be, they don't have the strongest dps of the casters but the utility they bring could be very useful in a raid group that hasn't reached farm status yet.

Gladiator just left a bad taste in my mouth since it feels like the initial ones up to like 15 are all about shitting on and beating up the other classes, which pissed me off since you know, it used to be mandatory for every Tank due Provoke, it picks up after 15 though, but that's halfway through it and if you come from WAR just to grab the Voke it comes off as very "Masturbatory" as far as first impressions go.

Comparatively Rogue/Ninja is good all the way through since it is basically Lupin 3 and then WEEB with great antagonists and fights and then "Racist princess is outdone by filthy foreigner" and Conjurer is delightfully Meta.

Dancer/Blue Mage are very likely to be the next jobs though since people went full AUTISM with hype for it when they thought Lyse was gonna be a Dancer from the trailer/opening movie and Blue has been pretty heavily requested, so they know there are interest for those two, the fact that they are rather obviously suited for two "understaffed" roles also helps.

It was more than name-dropped, it was given a history and an established community and you spend the entire quest line working with a geomancer who has geomancy abilities with (I think) unique animations and everything.

The Warrior of Light only got in because Haurchefant is a good man and then he solved their dragon issues and they're like "shit bruv thanks let's send a token force as a thanks when they knock on Ala Mhnigo's door."

Sam is deceptively fragile in PVP unless you have the 50% damage reduction / 1000 potency counter attack thing up. Otherwise you want to stay close to your group, harass with Enpi, and if you catch a target out of position, dive in with your dash, lead with Yukikaze (because it gives a Vuln UP debuff to them from you, so they take more damage from your attacks) and then either Higanbana if they're going to leave, or weave your OGCD kenki stabs with your combo to hopefully finish them with a Midare.

Don't forget that Enpi does great harass damage if they're trying to flee. Just don't get caught out like a dumbass, really, and use your dash for escape and engage.

They outdid themselves with the Shinryu and Lakshmi phase transitions. The Shinryu fight was fucking awesome.
