Titan Quest Anniversary if you're looking for an ARPG. Though it did feel a bit slow to me, since the areas are huge and me being an autistic faggot trying to explore the whole map didn't help. I also never played it without the enemy spawn multiplier mod, makes leveling faster but since it also spawns multiple (mid)bosses quite a bit harder.
the skill system is not that fun in my opinion, as you will mostly focus on just one or two skills plus passives, that goes even moreso when doing any build which includes the dream(?) class.


Anyway, if you are starved for ARPG, it won't be bad for $4

Even then, the wrong random encounter can screw over your entire party if you're not careful.

I'm really contemplating getting the two races for Warhammer. I can't think of any game that I would want to get besides EDF, or maybe Xenoverse 2. Do these games have active communities, or does anyone have a solid overall recommendation for a game around the $25-30 price point, preferably solid with a controller? Otherwise I'll probably get minotaur and wood people.

No, unless you're a huge Unreal fan. The only one considered good by most people while not being massively outdated is UT2K4. 3 is OK despite everyone bitching about it, but it's not as good as 2K4. However the online community is probably not very big. If the bundle were $3~$5 I'd say go for it but for $8 you want to consider whether or not you really want it since the only games of value area those I listed, unless you're into hardcore OG UT1, but you can get that anywhere else free pretty much.

Depends on the game of course, but steam games gifted. For example if you said you wanted XCom 2, I'd probably want Hollow Knight or Ori Definitive Edition in return. If you wanted Vermintide, I'd probably want something like Gothic Universe Edition. If you want like an origin key I'd probably give it to you for free along with any other trade.

You'll probably get a good 8-12 hours out of it depending how invested you feel after beating it. It's a must play for the simple fact of its uniqueness in controls in my book, but if you don't already like collectathons or platformers, it's not going to sway you.

Only bought Disc Jam and Wolcen this sale atm. Bought Disc Jam because although the game is more dead than Battleborn it seems ridiculously fun and a friend bought it with. I would advise people to look into it as it's a hella fun game.

Not the guy who said it's the best. I haven't played it yet, but most people regard it as shit. Then again, most people on /v/ probably haven't even played all the AC games so not really sure who you can trust.

I can at least guarantee you that AC2 + AC Brotherhood are REALLY good, and Revelations is OK.

AC3 is meh, but maybe worth trying out

AC4 Black Flag is fun enough, but the story is weak and the gameplay does get old after a while. Easily the most overrated AC game in my opinion. It was hugely disappointing for me because everyone hyped it up so much. Best ship battles in the series though, of course.

AC Liberation is UTTER TRASH. Don't even attempt to play this game.

Not sure about the 2 mini adventures that come with AC4 (Liberation 2 basically, and Freedom Cry) since I never played them.

That's as far as I've gotten. Oh, and don't bother with AC1, it's too old. If you've never played it though, it's probably worth reading up on it for the story.
