Aside from being the worst healer in the game now, it was the job that got gutted the most spell-wise.

Bane is literally useless now, its a dps loss until theres 4+ mobs, Adlo costs like 15% of your manabar (less than an aetherflow which repleneshes only 10% now), Blizzard 2 is gone, shadowflare is an ogcd with a 60 sec cooldown, Bio and Aero are gone so now you play exactly like a WHM except with no aoe.

It doesn't get better whatsoever with the SB skills at all. You get skill that's a dedicated crutch and heals someone when they're under 50%, a pity crit buff, and a fairy overheal button. Just go play AST or something, the job is shit AND boring to play now.

Nerf to Embrace was justified, cost jump on Adlo however was not. As it is SCH is weirdly costly. Make Emergency tactics make Adlo and Succor cost half the price and reduce the cooldown too. Then you'll at least make SCH a boring bog standard healer.

Only do story quests unless you hit a wall where you need to level up to continue. Especially in 2.0, there are a fuck ton that you will need to get past to get to Heavensward content. Heavensward has overall about half as much, but still a lot.

Yes, you can. Also tank gear does have direct hit. At least the shire gear does (it was previously accuracy wasn't it). I forgot to check whether new gear has it. Anyway, I melded my entire left side with direct hit and it does definitely make a difference, while tenacity is absolute garbage that makes less than 1% difference (I am serious, not joking).

I don't disagree, it feels kinda shit until 70 but at 70 I'm not regretting my decision to level DRK first. On the flip side, when you have opportunities to focus on DPS you're doing alot more button mashing with being able to use Dark Arts on Syphon Strike. It's definitely more active than just hitting Scourge once every 30 seconds, though I do miss it alot, both because I like debuffs and dots and because Scourge had the sexiest animation in the game.
