no general on vg so asking here. i played it 1 year ago for the hots mount and thats all. now im bored af and installing it to play again - how should i do it for a new experience?

i didnt like the game the first time i played it because
1. shit story
2. boring gameplay
3. barely died on the hardest difficulty available for my first playthrough
i highly dislike that the enemies are not a challenge and you are basically an anime character fighting vs legions of enemies that you one shot with your god powers. wtf?

i wanna have some fun in this game. how?
i dont want to invest a lot of time into it.
