If you're looking for a 2D action/exploration game for ten bucks, I'd recommend Hollow Knight or Salt & Sanctuary over Hyperlight.
If it's just the action you're after Furi is worth it instead.
Hyperlight is all about flashy presentation, the actual gameplay doesn't quite live up to how amazing the spritework is.

DS2 is considered to be the worst game in the franchise. PLUS buying next month's Humble Monthly Bundle will immediately give you a steam key for DS2+DLC, as well as a few more games sometime next month. Buy that instead. Finally, Don't Starve is a good game, but it really requires the DLCs and every single time I get around to opening the game and playing it I lose all desire to play the second winter starts.

I already have most of the things I could want and still don't take the time to play em, but this is my short list from this sale.
Shadow warrior looks fun enough to kill a couple hours for 4 bucks.
Dead Cells is like 2 of my favorite things together and it sounds like it works great. I would wait for cheaper and less early access but sometimes fun things can be removed in the name of balance and coherence so playing early could be fun. Also I'm just gosh darn curious with all the super positive reviews. Even a lot of the negative reviews on steam start out with "This is actually a good game but--"

It's just bad conduct. Ubisoft has made a shitzillion dollars on Assassin's Creed II but they still bother to put it on steam summer sale because otherwise they'd look like even bigger cunts.
That's supposed to be the advantage of small studios over big ones, they can have a better public image and customer service because there's not as much bureaucracy.
