I like how all the mechanisms are connected. The way exploring ties into collecting residents and building your shops is satisfying. Also the game doesn't really have downtime. The pacing is good so I always have a task at hand. It's also really polished. Get it if you like town building games and cuteness.

There definitely is no way that there wasn't a multiplayer mode that was scrapped. How else could you explain the shitfest that is menace chest rooms in labyrinths?

Like why can you change your stuff only in one point in the town ? I also find that movement speed is a bit slow given some parts of the desert are kindda big. I was in the store yesterday, saw a copy, remembered it from E3 last year and picked it up. The rest of my day and this morning has been spent playing it and I can't wait to play more.

This is a perfect game to go into without expectations. It has a great balance of Zelda and White Knight Chronicles, but it is clearly aimed at a younger audience. Once I'm done with it I'll hand it down to my daughter.

I'm liking it so far. It's strangely addicting and I want to keep playing it because the way the game sets up this routine for you where you're constantly having things you could be doing. Although I'm not seeing any replayability in this and I'm told residents are completely scripted so every playthrough would be the same (unless someone has evidence to contradict that). The game has a good foundation but doesn't push it far enough to be a masterpiece or anything.

If I were to complain about something it would be, once again, bad ally AI. They're kind of bad at not taking damage at times but seem like master dodgers when boss aoe attacks are concerned.
