The current sale price is honestly a STEAL for what you would be getting. I would personally feel bad about only giving 20 bucks to the devs.

The game is still in early-access, yet it is WAY more complete than some AAA titles that cost $60 on release. Don't believe me? Simply go on Youtube and watch some gameplay videos... you will be STUNNED.

Now, unlike other early-access game developers, the Squad ones actually DELIVERED. What? What's that, you're saying I am probably working for them, and you don't believe my statement? Fair enough. Then, a simple visit to their website will show you WEEKLY updates on what's going on with the game.

More weapons, more factions, more mechanics, more vehicles... and ALREADY like 6-7 NEW maps being tested, almost ready for release!

And guess what?

There is also ALREADY a full conversion World War II mod for the game... while the original game is still in early-access!

Anyways, if there is ONE game you should buy this year--on sale or not--it's without a single doubt the game SQUAD.

Best game I played in a while. Still slightly less complex than PR, but really really fun. Setting up IEDs in the ground, and waiting for an US convoy to pass by, and blow them up by using an old Nokia fun... PRICELESS.

Just got done playing it. It needs more maps desperately but my git-gud has finally kicked in (I haven't played a real shooter in forever) so its fun to make GI Go home. I heard they were adding more maps soon

Squad is honestly the best military FPS out there at this point. Not quite as autistic as ArmA but enough of a casual filter so it doesn't attract the Battlefield and Call of Duty audience.

The only thing that looks better in Squad is the particle effects. Fps isn't everything, but when the game looks bland and can't push beyond 60 it becomes an issue.

Interesting that you would say RS2 is boring as shit, they are both "move around for ten minutes then get shot from an unknown direction." If anything, RS2 is quicker about it.

They gave the project to Antimatter studio! In case you're not familiar with that studio, they are the one that worked on Evolve with the Turtle Rock team. You rememeber Evolve? Me neither.

So, what can they do to make their shitty game better?

Easy.

They'll let modders create maps and content for FREE, by the form of some contests. Exactly like Red Orchestra 2.

Now, I understand you guys are big fans of Vietnam games, but Rising Storm 2 is a disgra- no, actually, it's an insult to every player.

I hope Tripwire go bankrupt soon, they deserve no more.

RS2 has no semblance of teamwork. Squad usually does, you're only dying to people you never see if you're running off alone, generally if you'rewith your squad the medic will get you back up and you can fight back.

RS2 is pure and utter shit, it's simple as that. At least squad has content in the way of maps and vehicles. RS2 has got shitty helos you can't even use a stick to fly and 5 maps

You're right there, I forgot about that. RS2's teamwork is dependent on whether or not you have a good SL and TL. Squad def has consistently better teamwork. I guess I'll pick it up again when the devs get their priorities straight.
