I still have yet to beat this game but i'm playing it right at this second, I'm on nightmare but ever since I got haste with both wynne and morrigan my 2h warrior kills everything too easily, not to mention I have no idea what how I hit a high armor cap but I take at most 8 damage from regular enemies, only have to worry about mages.

Does it get even more bizarre in awakening? I've read things about spirit warrior.

Awakening is
1) bad
not DA2 bad mind you, but you can clearly see the insane nose dive quality-wise from the first game
2) extremely unbalanced
perhaps the most unbalanced game bioware has ever put out; your achers are going to be one-shotting everything while having a maxed out attack speed, your warriors are going to be running around at the speed of light and nothing's ever going to damage you

It's also rougly 15 hours long if you're a completionist so at least you don't have to suffer for too long

Anthem looks like the video game equivalent of those X movie parodies, where the creators outright admitted that they made them based off trailers in order to churn them out.
Anthem looks like it was made when EA watched the trailers for things like Horizon/Destiny and demanded a shallow copy of it in time to cash in on the craze.
Too bad they're late to the party and the craze they expected never turned up. Combine that with it relying on gameplay aspects that have historically been Bioware's biggest weaknesses, and you've got a disaster waiting to happen.

Thanks anon, I agree. I mean, for some of them it fit (Carver coming across as a tryhard, Merrill, even Aveline being an idiot romantically because of how sensible she was the rest of the time) but it was still grating to have so many of them so dependent on Hawke. Anders is by far the worst.
I think that's why Varric is so enjoyable - he manages to hold his own with Hawke as an equal, his interactions make sense unless you go out of your way to be a dick to him, and he comes across as a genuinely interested, concerned friend. Even his catchup conversations are more about being interested/concerned for Hawke than himself.
