What the fuck, when am I actually supposed to do this dungeon? Why does the first of five Kalpas already have endgame demons?
Also the enemies in the first Kalpa on the first floor (before going down the ladder) give disproportionately great Exp and Macca compared to demons in the normal game outside. Twenty minutes of fighting and I leveled up twice and got a shitton of money. You can really tell this was added in hastily as an updated re-release thing because it's hardly balanced.

PS If you looked up on the internet how to fuse Uzume and actually grinded to 18 (way overleveled for that point in the game) solely to use her for the Matador fight, you are a filthy fucking casual.

Can I get rid of Heat Wave? Phys build MC with no points in Vit, and Heat Wave does absolutely fuck-all for damage. Fire/Ice Breath and Tornado all hit harder.

I'm putting all points in Str/Agi/Luk, and none in Mag/Vit. The thing is apparently Heat Wave's damage formula is based off of your Vit so it's fucking useless, but a quick look on the internet shows that everyone swears by how good it is. Hell, Berserk was a better skill.

The spells aren't for damage, they're for coverage for extra Press Turns. Between Fire/Ice/Force getting extra turns is pretty handy.

A point in Luck is a wasted point in Nocturne.
It only affects Magic Accuracy, Escape Chance (if you are playing on Normal), and Ambush Chance and only to an incredibly minuscule degree.
Dunno why you went big on Str if you don't even carry and Physical skills though. If you just wanted to invest in Str for the lategame Freikugel memes then that's kind of a waste since you'll have enough points to max out 2 or 3 stats by the time you get there anyways.

Nope, not in Nocturne. Luck does absolutely zero for your crits (that's all Agility) and has no impact when it comes to ailment affliction or resistance. Most people think it's bugged but it's the case in every single release of the game so who the fuck knows.

My regular attacks hit really hard (~90 damage) for no cost. In Nocturne you don't even get single target MP-efficient spells at the start of the game so I'd assume a Mag build would fuck you over. Thinking about spamming Fire Breath in a long boss fight sounds like a pain given your small MP pool even with a Mag investment

Heat Wave on the other hand does like 29-30 damage because I have no points in Vit (the attack's power depends on your max HP), and Heat Wave does NOT go off of your Str stat. That's why I'm asking if I should get rid of it.

However, to get a certain ending you must complete it. If you want the benefits of the labyrinth without getting your ending locked, don't go down the elevator after fighting Metatron

He was really easy; he doesn't have Dekunda or Dekaja so go crazy with the nerfs/buffs. I had a Raiju (level 25) who drains Elec too.

i bought and beat the us ps2 classic version. no real bugs. i had roughly 3 lockups that forced a soft reset from inside the emulator, but each time it was just 30 seconds of loading a save, so it was inconsequential. great game, thread makes me wanna pull out the ps3 but im in the middle of cleaning my pc to play.

With Matador, you need to grind to fuse Uzume and with Trumpeter, you need to figure out his dumb gimmick.

The other Fiends can be beaten with the same buff and debuff tactic that every other boss can.
