I knew i'd regret buying a pc with win 10.
you see, me, a poorfag from buttfuck egypt, spent all my saved money on a decent computer recently because my old one (really old, i got it used almost 10 years ago) just didnt do it anymore. i am pretty good with computers, so age is but a number to me in regards of computers (to a certain degree)
anyway, so i picked up this used game (medieval 2 Total War) from a flea market some years ago, expected it to run like rome total war on my old pc on the lowest resolution and everything, but it didnt, so i waited this long to try it out - and now it doesnt work either, but for other reasons.
i did some research myself on the matter and only found people who recommended...

downgrading isnt an option to me as i just imported over 1.4 TB of data onto it from all my old extern HDDs, cloud storage and memory cards and sticks. i need all of it to work and completely lack the time
and i lack the the money for a new old OS

problem there is either my code doesnt work/is too smudged and i cant read it anymore, because i tried at least 500 variations of it by now and none worked or the guy who sold it to me already used the code before selling it. finding that guy is nigh-impossible, the city i live in has flea markets that are way too big to overlook and i dont remember that guy's face or heard his name
so i ask you now, do you have any idea on how to run this thing? compatibility mode alone does nothing, i still cant even start the program and all other things i tried didnt work with me (and neither did with other people)
or, if there was someone so generous that would send his code to this email address that i just made for this occasion to save my almost hobo ass:

It's a massive mod that supplants vanilla as the way to play the game.

If OS really is the issue, just fucking partition the hard drive with Minitool Partition Wizard and install a pirated Win 7 on your newly made OS partition.
Shouldn't take more than an hour with driver installs.

yeeeeaaaah...i have come to realize that aswell now. i'm still hoping for the same to happen as with windows xp, as in the beginning only very few games worked on it and later on everything worked again
but i'm getting less and less optimistic the more i think about how much of microsoft gets cucked by the us government
