There's a pillar pushing puzzle in the first God of War where the solution is to push a pillar down one floor and then push the other one on top of it.
I never figured it out and dropped the game.

Same here. This boss is fucking retarded though, the save point LOCKS YOU IN. You can't fucking grind if you save next to the boss. So you end up completely fucked. Although when I think about it, I was a retard who didn't junction and spammed GFs, so I probably could've won if I paid any attention to the junction system.

Stupid game though, and I loved FF7/FF9.

so im a huge golden sun fan and i played the shit out of this games. i reached this guy at level 21 and i just couldnt beat him. for one year i tried it again and again and again while leveling up. i ended up leveling up until level 48,which is insane and took so fucking long. and after a year i fucking realized i had to climb that mountain in order to fight him,because you activate some shit on top of the mountain which takes away his invincibility

I would alt+f4 as soon as I was about to die and reload my save thinking I just had to try something different.

Not to mention that sometimes she randomly just wouldn't cast the spell she's supposed to so you actually are stuck in the fight half the time.

Back when I first played this and couldn't figure it out at first glance, I tried to find some kind of pattern. I thought the owl looked like a 1, the Moth had 2 wings and the bear had 3 extremities, one for the head and two for the legs.
I just put them in the order from 1 to 3 and it opened.

Besides, there are only 27 combinations, might as well just brute force it.
