The downside?

When you want to use any armor with UUNP the 0 and 1 weights have to be rebuilt to work with whatever UUNP body you generated. And that requires an armor that works with UUNP and supports the range of bodyslide that it requires.

Right now, basically no good armors have been converted to work with UUNP.

I prefer SE over OLDRIM I mean I uninstall my old skyrim just because perfomance after 4 years playing the same game.
Dude I have a GTX 1080 and OLDRIM used to works like shit around 45/55 FPS using Rudy ENB even with my OLD GTX 780/980 the game perfomance was bad.

Are there any good entry level guides for this kind of shit for those of us who haven't attempted modding before? I've always been really intimidated by the process, given that you apparently need to install shit in a "correct order" of some variety, there are numerous possible incompatibilities between mods, apparently there are loader and/ or configuration baseline mods needed to manage your various other mods or something like that, and in general it just seems very complicated. I want to make titty monsters but I feel like I would spend hours, or even days on end bashing mods together trying to make things work only for the game to refuse to function as I would've hoped.

I get it if people don't want to spoonfeed too hard, but if that winds up being the case, could you at least give me an idea of where I should lurk to find out more? Everyone's always talking way above my level in these threads so I can never make heads or tails of what's being said about technological and actual modding side of things.

Anyone who doesn't say it all depends on which armor/clothing mods you use in combination with what kinda body you use, they are an idiot. Ignoring those people who use the outfit studio themselves and painfully exert effort for hours on end to try and make shit not clip (and fail most of the time cause the person who created the bodyslide conversation simply gave no fucks to make it workable with all bodyslide limitations cause fuck that) it's basically impossible to have all the shit you want work with one type of body only unless you're taste is just that convenient.

Some shit will only work with CBBE bodyslide, some shit will only work UUNP bodyslide. I mean technically it works for both, but you try the one that doesn't 'work', no matter how you adjust it, it just won't fly and will reduce to a clipping nightmare.

Then again even /tesg/ has tons of people who use hairs that clip into their bodies like 70% of the time when they move. If you're like that and don't give a shit, pick UUNP and stick with it. Otherwise make a profile for one each.

I think its more like you notice the amount of armors you don't have access too on both sides. I was a CBBE guy at first, but then I noticed there was a lot of unp armors I was missing.

When I reinstalled skyrim I decided to go UNP, only to find the armor set was way more restricting.

What do you mean by gameplay? Quest mods? Mods that dynamically alter gameplay in some fashion? They have that too.

They have a full arousal system that is used by almost every major mod, which dicates how horny every npc is. This system is used for mods to make npc's approach the player for sex, or just outright rape depending on the mod. Other mods can use arousal to have it effect your stats

Quests are a bit limited, but there are a few worth their salt in how much effort was put into it. Things in the Dark is a 30 hour quest mod where you get enslaved by falmar and get into all the intricacies of the underground society. Its buggy as hell, npc's not being where they should, quest markers getting bugged, ai pathmaking sometimes breaking and quest events not triggering. Its a huge mod and the guy has been working on it consistently, its night and day difference between the version I played 6 months ago.

Also don't use Wildcat. It just adjust the damage dealt/received. Get Ultimate Combat, Combat Evolved, TK Dodge, Attack Commitment, Revenge of the Enemies and optionally Vigor. Also SkyTweak is mandatory for balancing.
