I played Max Payne on Xbox and was inferior to PC.
Some small areas were cut-off. And others when you could shot through iron bars in the PC version, you couldn't in the Xbox.

I remember the first time I played Unreal Tournament 2003 on PC and the mouse and key blew my mind. It would be years later until I could afford a PC (2007) and the game og=f that time was CoD 4 and I was a GOD!

nah just 30. It was definitely a great time (98-2002ish) half-life, system shock 2, deus ex and thief 2, smash bros, mgs2, metroid prime, starcraft, diablo 2 etc. It was nice to play games without a care in the world and not have to worry about work and all that. I don't buy that games will never be that good again though, I think they will be, and they already have surpassed them in some ways. The most worrying recent trend is how everything must be a long term co-op time trap. meaning we get less deep and immersive high-budget single-player games.

I actually bought the ps2 classie on ps4 when it was in a flash sale. It had a bit of a visual boost being emulated on ps4 & faster loadtimes (though other versions don't have the sectioned load times). I can't speak for the frame rare having never played it on an actual ps2. I feel it controls fine. It's not horrible, but it's still not on par with the pc or og xbox versions.
