I can't dispute that. It was a wacky fun GTA with loads of content and still has the biggest map with the most cities and missions in the series.

I tried finishing this game but it became boring as shit, about around all the flying missions.

Everyone always posts about grove street but that part is only like the first 20% of the game. Then you go to other places and grove street is completely forgotten.

You play every other GTA. They really are like half-gameplay half-story games, as the gunplay's nothing special, you drive from cutscene to cutscene. So appreciating the story is kind of important.

I liked it. Niko is a good character, and the story was pretty good. But they tried to take some of the fun wacky elements out and go for a more gritty serious tone and that was its downfall.

Now lets go bowling.

Kendl reminds him of this constantly, and, alongside Wu Zi Mu and Cesar, he begins taking down drug syndicates, running casinos and record companies, and overall just becomes a better person. And when his actions finally get Sweet out of Jail? He's fucking greeted with "HEY CJ COME BACK TO MUH HOOD", despite having large shares in at least two multi-million dollar enterprises.
