Convince me to finish this game? So far, at least to me, its as vast as an ocean but the depth of a puddle. I remember installing it and being able to play with its combat while installing, and i was really loving it. Till i found out all you do is hold down right trigger (xbone) and the only depth is managing your lock ons. I was also interested in doing a pistol/gun only run but the mechanics are so boring, it feels like the developer threw it in "just to have it". The open world seemed cool at first, till i found out driving is literally just a rollercoaster with little-to no control, an artificial time waster
Im a HUGE fan of the dark souls series, i cherish them to no end because of how fun the combat is, but can some anons tell me why ffxv is great and why i should at least finish it, or even get into it???? Maybe im missing something.
TL;DR Convince me to finish FFXV

If it's not grabbing you by now, it won't really do anything later to entice you either. And if you ever do decide to finish it, wait until all the game-improving updates are out, like Off-road Regalia and additional playable characters + story content. Chances are that the story will disappoint you on the first go, so it's best to wait until they flesh everything out more for a better first experience that doesn't leave you wanting more. Also, they apparently have some big announcement for Gamescom and that they were holding back information during E3.

If you're interested in the gun mechanic, they made a DLC especially for you.
So, lemme get this straight.....to enjoy the only mechanic i want to invest time in, i need to BUY it?
