Just finished the SEBEC route and now i'm wondering where's the good game smtfags speak so highly of.
The plot is uninteresting and the characters are as deep as a paper sheet. The combat is the best thing in this game and even so, it's heavily flawed.
kandori is too good to be in this mediocre game.

It's mainly praised for how it nails the twisted nature of a high-school story twisted into something unnatural and occult, which the rest of the Persona games often fail at conveying. This is done through the haunting, dream like atmosphere that's provided through the presentation and the music, if you're on the Playstation version anyway.
All in all, the beauty is in it's simplicity.
