David Hayter was really bad at speaking casual lines. Everything he said sounded like he had a stick up his ass - which was pretty good for scenes where Snake was genuinely stressed, but came across as terrible acting for everything else. Just imagine Venom's "you're all diamonds" speech in Hayter's voice. Ugh.

I'm hoping Kiefer was just underused because of Konami (possible, considering how garbage they are) or an attempt by Kojima to put you in Venom's shoes, kinda like a silent protagonist. I don't think Koji will underuse Mads.
