Fable 1 is a mastahpiece. The only thing I'd change is making your armor choice actually matter. There is no reason not to wear full plate except for fashion since there's no downsides to wearing heavier armor.

It's been over a decade, so maybe I'm being too hard on it, but the villager stuff was always just fluff. It's nice that it's in there, and it really adds to the games, but there are far more important things. I think the biggest problem is that neither sequel got the atmosphere down right: the whole Knothole Glade section was fantastic, and nothing beats the first trader escort mission.

Nothing really, Fable 1 and 2 are great. Both solid 8 or 9/10s.

Fable would have greatly benefited from sequels that kept everything the same but added more depth in every iteration. There was a lot of uncut meat there to work with that they just couldn't capitalize on
