Got a bunch of games but Shadow of Mordor and Black Wake are easily my favorite. Black Wake suffers from having shitty crew mates occasionally but its the pirate game I wanted. Shadow of Mordor has its faults but its a much more fun Assasins creed set in LOTR universe.

For people asking if neo scav is worth it the answer is yes, It has a VERY cool setting but very little content for mid and lategame but it's $3.50 at the moment which makes it acceptable. I'd recommend you grab a mod off the forums for it.

Torchlight 2 have less skills, uses weapon dps for calculating almost everything, stats hardly matter, mods actually have reused skills in most cases and maps (collest feature from first Torchlight) moved to end-game.

Game was fun to clear once but just once.

Grim Dawn is like Titan Quest - pre-created maps, multiclass system where everything resolve around picking one or two active skills and building passives around those. Intense and fun to play but again - just for once. In the end, you invest into passives much more anyway and combat gets repetitive. Since enemies dont respawn until you re-enter the game, hunting for item is kinda boring.

Both are solid games, both are boring after first play but both are worth playing in the end. Just dont expect Heavens know what.

2 is better, less grind, more content, and a much better combat system. In 1, the grind was annoying to the point where even if you fulfilled the requirements to obtain a skill like letting Frieza kill Krillin, then beating his ass you still wouldn't unlock the Super Saiyan skill. 2 got rid of all that shit. Honestly, 2 is more like an expansion to the first game if anything. I wouldn't recommend anyone play the first one over the second.

Another question - outside of Space Engineers, are there other recommended space sandbox games?

I was thinking about Planet Explorers and Empyrion. First is tied to a planet of course and its more like rpg, but have plot and such (and its finished).

Empyrion is very like Space Engineers but about survival and elss about building fun shit to crash into planets. EA, but got major update recently.

Any opinions?

I actually enjoyed it. There's some things it has over Rune Factory and other things it doesn't. I actually enjoyed the farming aspect a little better than RF. You can customize your farm a bit better than the standard tiles. RF4 has better combat and romance imo though. If you like farman in vidya, I definitely recommend it anyway. If the tumblr faces turn you off, I'm pretty sure there's mods.

It's probably better if you think about other reasons to buy, the other platinum games are different genres. Nier is an open world action jrp, with secondary quests, focus on atmosphere and narrative and all. The combat is pretty immediate like the genre requires, it has a more in depth layer when you start testing weapon movesets, some chip fuckery that helps some mechanics, and mechanics like cancels and special jumps that the game doesn't directly shown to you (pic related). As a classic ajrp it's a top tier gameplay, but it's not comparable with the platinum character action games.
More than the other platinum games' fans, I'd say that the people who should absolutely buy it with 0 doubts are the ones who regard highly games with strong direction, like Ueda's games and some Kojima's ones for example.

Dungeon Siege 2 is often called worse but I found it better than 1. Expansion is shit and I wouldnt bother with it, but base game is rpetty solid and intense. In first game all I had to do was run with single charater to tank, having rest heal him/her and rest casting damage spells, while pressing potion hotkey. DS2 require much more attention and is actually fun.

Stalkers are HEAVY on atmosphere and kina horror-like. Witcher is standard RPG with open world but without character creation.

I would go with Stalekr myself but not everyone can stand the depressing atmosphere. I couldnt. Also fun fact: higher difficulty actually affects both your and enemies damage output.
