I started right before WotLK came out, right in the midst of the undead invasions. I didn't know what the hell was going on, got trapped in the crossroads for a while, and never had more fun playing the game.

>that feeling when at top of the temple in Zul'Farrak and you look down, noticing it's FULL of trolls slowly making their way up the stairs
>standing in Ironforge just looking and admiring all the 60s with their epic swords and tier sets while you stand next to them with your smite's mighty hammer at level 26
>tfw you looted stockade pauldrons and wore them incredibly proudly just because they were epic and despite them giving like stamina and spirit
>tfw guildies made fun of me for not selling them
>tfw those days will never be return and can never be returned

>Coming back to my corpse as a ghost and find him camping me, he's pissed
>Decide to call it a day and log off

I like to think that he sat there for another thirty minutes in impotent anger. That rush of killing someone who more than doubled your level in the same class was exquisite.

I went there the other day in retail.. They put an additional gate up just past the first one you could always glitch through.. And, it looked like the well was now covered so you couldn't fall through to the other area either..

They've completely sealed it up, from what I can tell.. But, I'll find a way someday.
