Most people here have played Katawa Shoujo, it's pretty entry level.

Sengoku Rance is probably my favorite "VN" game but it's mostly RPG and is kinda difficult.

What this guy says, it's long as fuck and it'll take a while before you get any H-scenes. But it's a great read with some good music and memorable characters.

But to be honest A big part of S and the A series are fanservice, so play those if you really like the characters and setting.
