There's nothing inherently wrong with making games and stories about the outcasts and misfits of the world. The case with Emil, Kaine, Caim, etc. is that unlike in SJW media, they are compelling characters in their own right. Too many of these focus too much on why the characters are discriminated against, and forget to make them characters beyond that.
