I really enjoy fanservice in vidya, it's not like I'm super horny or anything, it's more that I enjoy having nice eye candy constantly. If the gameplay is at least decent, I'll buy it and play it.


I'm also really bad at Breath of the Wild, I dunno what it is with that game, but I keep forgetting the controls constantly and forget how to use runes.

I play Smash 4 competitively and enter local tournaments for them.

I buy games and then don't play them, even though I have time. I either end up just browsing the internet or playing Smash 4 wifi. I bought Nier Automata and Nioh months ago but haven't played either. Going over and starting a new game on my PS4 just seems like too much work. I haven't played vidya in weeks, and really in months, because I personally don't count tapping in and out of sandbox games for the purpose of finishing them off. This is not because I've grown tired of games, but I lack the motivation of starting and learning a new game, I just need a bit of a shove. Luckily I'm pretty much done with college at this point, so I think this air of intimidation with vidya will leak away with time. I'm not too concerned about jobs fatiguing me, I've done physical labor and still had the drive, despite some days not even wanting to stand.
I really want to play Total War: Warhammer, yet I've been staring at it building up DLC and dust since I got it day one, but I have other options such as Little Big Adventure 2 and the Witcher series.

The Last of Us is my favorite game followed by Half-Life 2 and Ocarina of Time.
I've played through Human Revolution five or six times but have no intention of even touching the original.
The only Zelda games I’ve played are Ocarina, Majora, and Twilight Princess. I can’t stand the 2D games and like Ocarina far, far more than Majora and Twilight.

I think I've turned into a 60 fps fag. I have been playing Doom 4 and my GTX 960 can handle it at 60 fps with very high settings.

Now I've downloaded Dark Souls 3 during the steam sale and I can't get it to hit 60 fps. I tried locking to 30 fps but it just feels so shitty. The frame times suck too.

I actually wish only one company was allowed to make console hardware.
It was the only console hardware available, and if devs wanted to put a game on it, 1080p 60fps and support for all input devices(mouse, keyboard, controller) was the minimum requirement.
The company that retails said hardware would be unable to make any games for it, effectively ending exclusivity.
It comes with perks and occasional free games for those who invest in the network as well.

For example, while they are unable to make games directly, they release software that can be installed on any normal computer hardware that runs a few tests. The higher the rating, the more reward tiers that server owner is afforded.

This also makes the online access free for players, and servers dedicated with local admins policing it from hackers. And since the rewards are higher the better the rating, the PC hardware market is still alive.

We all get the one box, with access to all the games, played however we like and all the wars end. The discussion becomes one of actual video games and not the platform upon which they are released.

I loved Dark Souls 1, 2, and 3, although I will admit they had some flaws like how 3 nerfed invading into the ground. However, when I got Bloodborne on my PS4, I only played it for a few hours before it became insufferably boring and I haven't touched it since. Every area just looks like the exact same over-shadowed, edgy, dilapidated mess to me. There's none of the awe I got in the Dark Souls series like from standing at the edge of the cliff of the Undead Asylum looking out over the mountains, or staring up at the imposing and draconian Castle Drangleic in the pouring rain, or watching the moon hang over the beautiful and empty city of Irithyll from my comfy bonfire.

If I play an old FPS like Doom or Quake or Serious Sam I must find every secret. If I can't find them all in a level I look up the rest. While I feel bad about doing so I need the satisfaction of 100% "completion"
I will also look up guides for RPGs in order to find out how to get the best equipment, and also how to get the best possible rewards from dialogue options etc. This also relates to the 100% "completion" desire. I would imagine canonically my character would get the best possible equipment.
