I don't believe Tanabe got a new team to work on a brand new Metroid Prime sequel after Federation Force being a flop & Sticker Star/Color Splash being disliked by plenty with CS also supposedly having below average sales.

Metroid 2's remake has no involvement with Tanabe though. I'm pointing out how I'm amazed Kensuke Tanabe is getting a Producer role again (yes, I know he also did Prime 1-3) in something again with a new team to work on a sequel to something even though he's been lacking lately (beyond Tropical Freeze I guess). I didn't know about that F-Zero thing though, that's interesting.

MP4 likely will come out before FF7R (Or at least come out as a finished product much earlier if SE goes with the Episodic releases), but it's kinda strange that all they had was a title for E3.

Not only is there zero gameplay, zero cinematic trailer and zero information, but no one even knows who are fucking developing the game.

There's no hype here. If this is all that is needed to "win" E3, Sony and MS can just show logos of games that are five years from completion and get a pat on the back.

For what? Tanabe working on Prime 4? Because it's on the fact sheet. If you mean Metroid 2 having no involvement with him I guess you got me there, we don't "know" if he is not but I guess I'm more focused on him not being Producer on that (Sakamoto is) & even then it's obvious he's not involved since he's only ever had involvement on the Prime games if you look at his list of games he's worked on.
