Which doesn't really give any hints. Except it does prove that they are new trophy's and it's not just segmenting off the harder time trial trophies so Plats are easier (Uncharted remaster trilogy did this).

It's most likely cut levels from Crash 1, there were four of them: Stormy Ascent (which everyone lows), a Waterfall Climbing level (meant to go before Ripper Roo, much more unfinished than Stormy Ascent), a Cliff Descent level (probably meant to go after Ripper Roo, even more unfinished) and finally a deep underground cave level that was completly unplayable (you just fell through the floor if you tried to move into the level).

Don't know if this is true, but according to someone on reddit coloured gems still require you to beat the level without dying, whilst clear gems work like Crash 2/3. Slippery Climb is just as brutal as ever.

You also need Brio/Cortex/Twana Bonus round boxes to get the gem now, but you get infinite attempts and they don't count as dying if you fail.

Haven't played these games since release when I was a wee lad.
For some reason, I remember there being a game-breaking bug in the very first levels of one of the Crash Games.

You got gems for getting all the crates, and the gems appeared in the levels to take you new places, and if you got all the gems they made a bridge at the end of the game to a new level or something?

I got all the gems except one of the first couple levels, the gem you would unlock would take you to two crates, crates you need to unlock the gem in the first place, I only found this out after using cheat codes to unlock them all. Is this true or was I a retarded child?
