Its a great game, it will always have a spot in my heart because it was my first souls game and it was the first of its kind, but i think BB might be better because of the bigger budget and the gameplay refinements.

Dark souls is great too but the second half sucks so much its overall on par with demon souls.
Dark souls 2 sucks at the begginning and has some annoying tropes and some areas and enemies are just bullshit, it gets fun tho and has a lot of content.
Dark souls 3 is a fun game too but something just feels off, its like its trying to be bloodborne too much when it doesnt really need to.

They are all fun games, people who like them should really check out nioh, its absolutely fantastic but it shows some of its budget limitations with the enemy variety.
Personally it didnt bother me one bit, its just so well crafted gameplay wise
