I wish they would port the wiiu shit. The games on that system looked really good but just not enough of it. Just got done with Zelda so a Mario maker would bananas.

The only Wii U games are Zelda, MK8 and Pokken, but Pokken and MK8 are both vastly improved over their Wii U versions. Not saying that means they're a reason to buy a Switch, but for people that didn't own a Wii U (which is a lot of people) they are obviously. The Wii U was a failed console so it's not really comparable to all of the ports PS4 and Xbone got.

The GameCube already blows it out of the water as a home console when it was the same age as the switch. if the GC was released the same day as the switch we would already have:

And it is a good argument. For less than half of the price of a Switch, you can buy a WiiU, hack it, play all those games for free, and have access to Nintendo's entire library from Wii to NES, including portables + mods, and all with access to the right peripherals thanks to backwards compatibility with the WiiMotes and GCN controller, and the classic controllers.

With the Switch you get, a shitty tablet full of WiiU ports at full retail, and wistful thinking that the coming titles don't suck, while you beg for 3rd party ports. Pic related.

Right now, if you own a PS4 the WiiU is a better option. If you don't, then the PS4 is the best option.
