Occasionally this is true. In Red Orchestra 2 I'd play anti-tank rifle and sit and quietly wait in the best positions for the enemy tank, saving my ammunition for the moment it shows up. Then I'd pop it and wait for it to respawn. This doesn't get much points but the tank can wreck havoc on a team that doesn't kill it.

I don't like third person camera. The center of the screen is the most important part. That is where I center my view. Third person camera covers it up. It also makes the camera further from interact-able items, requiring crutches like glowing items or floating words for you to identify anything. Third person camera also obscures melee moves a character does.
