I got mine from a scalper on Amazon due to them being sold out everywhere. (I dont regret it because im having fun but i dont recommend it.)

Gonna let you in on a secret. I've been following twitter feeds and certain ones will send out alerts when Switches are in stock. I've manage to get a hold of five switches at MSRP for myself and friends from Best Buy, Game Stop, and Amazon with three of those being preorders and two being restocks. It was super easy. It's stupidly annoying but set up phone alerts for these twitter feeds and you shouldn't miss out on an alert. There's a bunch that do alerts for amiibos that have circlejerk each other and also do alerts for other Nintendo stuff including the Switch and its accessories. I honestly had more trouble getting multiple Switch Pro controllers before launch.
