No point in buying Chronophantasma and Continuum Shift. Central Fiction is the most recent one. Melty Blood is indeed great, but the Steam version ran poorly (maybe they fixed it since launch). AH and UNIEL are really fun games, but they have new versions coming out soon on consoles or arcade, don't know if that will affect your decision. I think Battle Fantasia is boring as shit, but most people like it, so whatever.

That's going to happen whether we buy games or not. Bloated operating costs and execs constantly trying to make profit margins in increasing percentages on the order of 10-15% more each release is going to leave them bleeding their own industry dry. I can't remember which but I think it was one of the new Tomb Raiders that had to basically be bought by a significant portion of the planet to turn a viable profit and of course, it didn't. That trend is going to continue, regardless of content or quality. There isn't enough money to satiate them NOR enough customers out there, and if they don't learn that, the industry will implode on itself.

I think people here don't like how big the levels are. Instead of going through levels quickly, you have to take your time and plan things out more. 2 is less arcadey, but has more to it.

2 is one of my favorite games of all time. The soundtrack is better too

Personally, I recommend you play the DS version of 999 rather than the PC version. They did something cool with the dual screens at the end but in the PC version I hear they completely gutted it and replaced it with something that doesn't make sense. Otherwise I highly recommend the Zero Escape series, yeah.

I wanted to get through the Witcher 1 but I couldn't desu. Dropped it at the third chapter I think. The idea of skipping to The Witcher 2 killed me but wow am I glad I did. If you can get through the Witcher 1 good on you but I found it to be a bit of an obstacle.

I liked the base building. I put in some barbed wire and sandbag mods, flags, all kinds of shit to make a cool base where everyone is uniformed and the entire perimeter was lit up at night. In the center was an open patio saloon with coloured lights and a chill atmosphere.
