Evokers may be edgy but they're thematically perfect. I wish the animations for using them made more sense, however.

Card Crushing makes no sense thematically and it was jacked from P3 and Elizabeth. However, it's the coolest in action scenes.

Mask Ripping is somewhere in between. It's not as thematically as cool as Evokers, or as cool in action as Cards, but somewhere in between.

I disagree. A Persona is essentially a person acting differently to get through different situations. Some people have work personas and what not. Which makes the concept of Shadows throughout the franchise even more confusing. In P2, they're entirety separate entities which even generate their own Persona. In P4, they're formed by the feelings that you deny, and they ARE your Persona. In P5, they're either you just wearing a funny hat (palace rulers) or cool guys (Futaba).

Aside from his badass summoning animation, Kandori really wasn't that interesting to me in P1. But then in 2, they made him really cool. But maybe it was because of how generic he was in 1 that made him cool in 2. it doesn't really fit in with the game at all.

The whole 7 deadly sins in the game feels pretty forced (each dungeon is a sin) but there's no point for it to be in the game.

The game does some pretty good stuff on modern societal commentary and social media, but the whole stuff on 'reality' is pretty much never referenced until the last hours of the game.

Futaba was denying the truth, but her Shadow wasn't a part of her that she was repressing because she was ashamed of it. Her Shadow was just something that existed to help her realize the truth, a far cry from P4 or P2's interpretations.

First movie is passable.
Second is pretty good. Everything about Shinji and his death is great.
Third is pretty mediocre.
Fourth is as horribly boring as you'd expect a movie about that one month in the game where nothing happens would be. The Nyx confrontation is MC vs a giant CGI monster that looks awful while the rest of the party have an uninteresting hold-the-line battle versus Shadows and the Strega fight barely happens.

it's presented as 'the public's palace' which is pretty much home to people who are evil, but not evil enough to have their own palace, but not for any good reason, because some of the requests are easily as bad as other people.

You have to look at it this way, Futaba herself wanted to subconsciously due to her perceived guilt, whereas her Shadow ran antagonist to that idea.
