So now that the remake is happening do you think Ueda will actually end up doing a lot more with Shadow of the Colossus now that his original vision is actually possible now? I just thought this quote was interesting since the remake was announced. Besides he has to be involved with it.

Yoshida has said that neither Ueda or Team Ico are involved with the remake. It's Bluepoint and Japan Studio. Cut Colossi will also not be in the remake, also confirmed by Yoshida

Not only is Ueda literally not involved (or anyone from Japan Studio really) but it's already confirmed it's just a 1:1 remake of SotC with prettier graphics and same controls and physics as the HD version on PS3.
