They've added a metric ton of content to the game since its release, and you get all that for 8usd. The question you need to ask is if you REALLY like sandbox MMOs where you have to set your own goals and make your own fun. The game won't do it for you. I'd say skip it. I pirated it, finished it and almost regretted the time I spent.
It doesn't do a single thing better than Bioshock 1+2 (some would argue that it looks better, but that's subjective). The gameplay is simpler in every way. The story is the kind that might seem interesting at first, but then you realize that it's built around the scenes - they wanted X, Y and Z to happen, so now the plot is altered to make it happen, no matter how stupid it is.
It's a shallow mess with its head up its own ass.

I loved Mad Max. It's very close to shadow of Mordor in gameplay (go to enemy base, kill them, gain influence over the area etc...) but the driving and environnement are great, so is the combat, it feels like a much more brutal batman game. The story is great too and basically explains why Max acts like a cold asshole and doesn't allow himself to love other people. Powerful ending.
