Playing the actual console on a crt is best. I emulate and the graphical glitches annoy the shit out of me but I have to cope because fuck buying used shit.

I'd say so. I still have the one I got for Christmas as a kid and it works like the day I first got it.

I semi-recently completed Mario Kart 64 and unlocked the alt title screen - quite a nice feel.

I could emulate Project 64 on a crap PC from 2003.
