You don't need ps+ for bloodborne, at least I can summon shit just fine without it.

I went without it my first playthrough because I knew from monster hunter that additional people would trivialize a fight and provide an entirely different experience. Martyr Logarius was a pretty fucking difficult fight for me the first time around. The second time around I summoned a dude, he distracted him and like 4 backstabs later he was dead. Doesn't even feel like the same game at that point.

I never understood how people had trouble with BSB. For me it was literally "dodge left and attack: the boss". Seems like one of those bosses that's extremely easy for some and extremely difficult for others.
