When I was young game reviews were in magazines like EGM for example. It was obvious to me, even as a teenager, that they were fake. Decades later I still cannot believe it's even up for debate that this is all a clever advertising campaign to sell video games.

Why do you even need game reviews anyway? With the internet you can see gameplay from a game anyways. These review site are now and always will be worthless. They make money from ad revenue from the games they are reviewing. Worrying about ethics in "game journalism" is pointless because it isn't journalism it's an advertising strategy.

It's a very solid 9 but it simply doesn't do anything to warrant a 10. The gameplay formula is safe as fuck and it's literally Nintendo cashing in on the open world "DO ANYTHING YOU WANT IN ANY ORDER" meme.

Its not really no reason, given that GAAAAAAAAMERGATE was brought back into the limelight, again, thanks to Zoe. She did this last year too.

What I love about GG threads on /v/ now is how desperate a handful of faggots are to fan the flames again and get /v/ to RISE UP once more, all while constantly denying they were involved in GG because everyone knows how much of a shitshow it turned out to be, and no amount of "fuck off tumblrina" posting will change that.
