I wouldn't say it's deep, the point of the game is a very simple "find out the truth for yourself" kind of deal. It's just that a lot of people miss the point and keep posting the GW conversation like it's some amazing bit of prophetic writing when everything they talk about had already been going on for years.

PW was always shit. You just grind for 100 hours with shitty stealth mechanics in small maps, fighting repetitive bosses and the story is fucking god awful. It's impressive that a portable game has so much content but when you play the console port it was evident that they should have never took the lens off the "This is a portable game" aspect because it makes the flaws really stand out.

mgs1 in all regards except graphics. it managed to ally cinema storytelling and game structure very well, with bosses that are the main characters and make snake's initiatic journey progress. 2 broke every possible rule because kinojima farted higher than his ass and it's a mess.
