Alright, this seems like the best place to post this.

I can't get New Vegas to run on my computer. Last week I was playing but was having a hard crashe very hour or so, so I deleted it and reinstalled with Steam to get a fresh install.

But now, the game won't run at all. When I press play, it says New Vegas does not appear to be installed and the installer cannot be found.

Steam forums suggested the registry edit trick, but the solution that works for everyone else on this forum does not work for me. I'm about 5 minutes away from just doing a fresh Windows 10 install.
