I had tens and tens of hours worth of fun from the rag doll physics in GTA 4 alone, now it's all scripted animations it just doesn't feel the same.

The first game I played with rag doll physics was probably Carmaggeddon 3D? Even that was a blast to play at the time.

It's a shame they aren't used much in today's games I like the real feel, yes the physics can be over the top but being able to shove someone down stairs and watch them tumble down is pure gaming gold.

literally every game uses them now. and those that don't stand out in a big way (i.e. Sea of Thiefs)
