Sea of Thieves seems pretty good.
Sony or Ubisoft, I can't remember, announced a new big pirate game at E3.
Never played it but I hear ACIV Black Flag is fun.
It's not a pirate gamr but Fable 2 has a whole area dedicated to pirates.

Monkey Island series, Sid Meier's Pirates!, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Bethesda's Pirates of the Caribbean.

Haven't played since it was in early access, but Man o' War: Corsair was pretty decent. Blackwake is good from what I've heard, but Sea of Thieves covers similar ground and looks more polished. Caveats being Sea of Thieves probably won't be out until next year, and if you aren't playing on Xbox One/Windows 10, then you won't be able to play it anyways.

Blackwake is such an under rated game. I got that shit on sail (HAR HAR HAR) and don't regret it what so ever. Its to much fun just being a captain that rams every living thing you see.
