Here's what mine looks like as someone who primarily plays games on the PC but will buy consoles when they have enough games I want to play.

I have all the last gen consoles but I'm still not convinced to buy any of the current gen consoles. I already bought BotW and played through it on Cemu, Xenoblade 2 doesn't appear to have mechs and the protagonist looks like shit so currently I have no interest in playing it, I'm not really a pokemon guy and I already have Yakuza Zero on the PS3.

Beside Bloodborne, Prime 4, and maybe Fire Emblem (so long as it isn't Awakening/Fates again) there isn't much to get me to buy into the current generation of consoles yet. Souls lovecraft edition isn't enough to get me to buy a PS4 and while I'm looking forward to Prime 4 and a new console Fire Emblem game after so many years of it being relegated to handhelds we don't know shit about either of them. So yeah, I'm still going to wait and see what happens.

Unless you have a dece PC or another console as a multiplat machine, you're paying too much for too little; there's no guarantee you're going to get any 3rd party support aside from a handful of Nintendo exclusives/ports.

Now if you already have a PC or another console, by all means go for it. The Switch is currently the worst option for a standalone gaming machine.
