Yeah, because there's no legend or explanation for why the list is organized the way it is within the image itself. YOU understand the logic behind it because you made it, but no one else knows or understands the logic behind it. Even then, I'm not even sure if the whole "x 'donated' tropes to y" idea holds true for some of the zones in the above columns, there needs to be more specifications to make sense of this because it otherwise looks like a fucking mess (the bottom half especially).

So we have Green Hill for S1, Chemical Plant for S2, Stardust Speedway for CD and Flying Battery for S&K.
Honestly I'm expecting Hydrocity to be the S3 zone. Out of all we've seen so far we haven't had a water level. It's a pipe dream, but I'm hoping that a Master System/Game Gear zone gets a rep, or maybe one of the Sonic 3 multiplayer levels.

If we get more than one per game it'll fuse 3&K so we'll get Icecap and Sky Sanctuary, We'll get Casino Night even though Carnival Night Zone is the better of the two.

We'll get Star Light because nostalgia I also need to hear Tee Lopes doing that song.

Sonic CD will either have Palmtree and Stardust with Stardust coming later on for a Metal Sonic fight or just throw in Collision Chaos for some reason.

I think 2 returning zones from each game would be valid, if we had 6-8 new ones as well.
