What would be the comfiest setting for you in a game?
A cyberpunk equivalent of VtM:B would be great.
Pretty much any area in yume nikki but in HD.

I wonder if 'comfyness' or some version of it was ever a factor in making something like Blade Runner, or was it completely unintentional as they were trying to visualize a dark future and people found those qualities in it after the fact.

That new game called Last Night pulls it off so well that its scary.
Its probably unintentional but something to keep in the back of your head.

Floating small islands with cool trees and houses

Countryside/fields/forests but in a contemporary or futuristic world, could be some parallel world detached from the industrialized one.
I don't like medieval settings because no technology and stupids beliefs instead of a real knowledge and understanding of the world is not comfy for me.

have you played gravity rush?

A game where you spend a lot of time sitting in a ski lodge drinking cocoa.

Definetly will look into the game thanks.

Almost any setting to be honest as long as there is not a shitty "save the world" plot that forces me into some shitty goal.
Even game like Witcher 3 would be very comfy if instead of having this stupid main plot, they focused more on role-playing and side stories of your contracts.
