for example I liked how in golden sun 2, if you switched to the protagonist of 1 as the party leader it would play the battle theme from 1 during random encounters

I have a soft spot for music-related tropes in general, music that gets more intense when shit gets real and stuff like that
as much as I disliked assassin's creed 3 I liked how it did this
