Amen. I had 2500 hours in dota, hovered around 3.8k ever since ranked came out, but as soon as I started working full-time I quit that shit. I play overwatch like 2 days a week now, that's it. I don't have time for this garbage-ass HotS-with-techies patch where every game takes an hour and I end up losing when the peruvian PA picker randomly tries to 1v4 and dies without buyback.

What's sad is /v/ has lots of NEETs who still don't have the patience to learn something like Dota. That's what I don't fucking get. A lot of people here don't play video games, they just shitpost on here about faggoty /pol/ shit and games they don't like, and then they go to bed.

It's easier to shitpost about a game than to play it. Although it's easier just to play vidya, stop when tired and then shitpost. I sorta fall into the category you described, though I'm mostly just drained nowadays. I had a couple moments where I was at my peak and now everything feels really lackluster. Can't really improve at vidya nowadays, reaction time is shot unless I'm hyped and nothing makes me hyped now. Probably not alone in that.
