I've never played a Zelda game for more than a few minutes either. It seemed boring. I had the game because at the time I needed it to hack my 3DS but I threw it away afterwards.

I could never play any JRPG beyond the starting areas. I've only played through Skyward Sword and dropped Wind Waker. I'd say you're not missing out on much.

Kirby is alright, I actually like it, but if it didn't appeal to you by now maybe you weren't going to enjoy it that much.

When it comes to Zelda and Final Fantasy, there's bound to be one that you'd like, so I'd say check out some gameplay vids or test a few of them out.

I'm not particularly passionate about Kirby so I can't really tell you anything there. The two I've played, Nightmare in Dreamland and an old gameboy one, were fun though.

You should play at least one game. Majority of them are easy to buy and/or emulate. They're such easy yet fun and short games, that there is really no excuse to not try at least one.

Not really. The first five Final Fantasies were fun, but not the best rpgs ever. Zelda's combat and puzzles can't really carry the entire game. I always wind up quitting after the plot twist. Kirby is fun enough, but lacks challenge unless you count True Arena.
