It's weird how WHM is almost good and SCH is in the garbage when the community opinion was the exact opposite leading up to/into stormblood.

If WHMs Lily's and Confession stacks were changed to something halfway useful they would be in a very good place. Meanwhile Scholar has had their mana efficiency destroyed, embrace nerfed, had their version of bad-battle litany nerfed before it even released, their aoe damage literally removed from the game and only barely do more single target damage than ASTs, while WHM is far ahead. Not to mention Noct AST is a far better shielder than SCH could hope to be right now.

SAM is either you love it or don't. Most like it but are probably also loving the fact that your dick becomes twice as girthy when you play it. It's got a great set of skills but does take sometime to get used to, if you play a class that normally relies on more static rotations like mnk or drg then you'll probably take to it pretty easily. If you're more of a proc based priority system player like mch or brd you'll probably enjoy RDM a lot more.

RDM at 70 is just more potency on your full 80/80 mana rotation, because you get Verflare/Verholy. It doesn't really change that much, apart from your opener for raids now having far MORE of a need to go Acceleration + Swiftcast to get the procs started pre 40/40 so you can drop something like 2300 potency in under 4 seconds.

Your rotation should be automatic while you react to the surroundings. It's like driving a car or riding a bike. Practice on the SSS dummies or A1S or A9S if you're able to find groups. Also getting ACT once it's patched will help tell where your dps is and help you improve

As a new player I've really been enjoying this game and I haven't even reached the expansion content. Samurai is fun to play, nothing mind blowing but fresh enough and feels different from the shit in WoW.
I just fought Gilgamesh, the bosses really feel like a love letter to Final Fantasy fans. If the game keeps going like this I'm going to enjoy it for a long time.
